How It Works
A Clear, Structured Process From Testing to Consultation
AXXIS follows a defined, professional process to ensure accurate blood testing, clear interpretation, and meaningful outcomes—without unnecessary complexity.
Step 1. Book a Consultation
Clients begin by ordering a one off consulation, package, or membership directly through the website.
Once confirmed, you will receive:
-
Secure payment details
-
Your blood pathology referral link
-
Instructions for completing the client intake form
Step 2. Complete Blood Pathology Testing
Blood testing is completed through iMedical, a private pathology provider.
Key testing notes:
-
Blood collection should be completed as close to 8:00am as possible
-
Results are typically available within 72 hours
-
A comprehensive range of markers may be reviewed, including full blood count, liver and kidney markers, lipid profile, cardiometabolic , vitamins/minerals and hormone panels
Step 3. Fasting & Preparation
Accurate interpretation depends on appropriate preparation.
Testing requirements:
-
Fasting is required for all blood tests (8–12 hours)
-
No food or caloric drinks during the fasting period (water only)
-
Adequate hydration is recommended — approximately 600–1500 ml of water prior to testing
-
Continue taking prescribed medications and any vitamins, minerals, or herbal supplements as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not discontinue or alter medications unless advised by your doctor.
Proper preparation is essential to ensure results can be interpreted reliably and in context.
Step 4. Complete Client Intake Form
Clients are required to complete a comprehensive intake form prior to their consultation.
This includes:
-
Relevant medical and health history
-
Lifestyle, training, and workload context
-
Medication, supplement, and nutrition (where applicable)
-
Health and performance goals
The intake form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation to allow adequate review.
Step 5. Consultation & Interpretation
Consultations are conducted online and typically run for 60–90 minutes.
During the session:
-
Blood results are reviewed using functional reference ranges
-
Contributing factors such as sleep , exercise , nutrition , medication interaction are reviewed in context with the blood pathology results
-
Findings are explained in a clear, structured, and objective manner
The focus is on context, patterns, and practical understanding—not isolated markers.
Step 6. Reports & Follow-Up
Following the consultation, clients receive:
-
One written report for personal reference
-
One report suitable for sharing with a primary healthcare provider
For clients on packages or memberships, follow‑up consultations are scheduled according to the selected service tier. Interpretation and recommendations may be refined as updated blood results become available.
Ongoing Support (Where Applicable)
Clients engaged in packages or memberships may receive:
-
Ongoing blood marker monitoring and comparative analysis
-
Refinement of recommendations as new pathology data is reviewed
-
Limited email or WhatsApp support for brief clarification between consultations (as outlined in the selected plan)
